Runs the broadcast. Cuts the show, manages participants, and keeps it on air. About an hour to read; the assessment is a live one.
This seat is different from the other three, and the difference is the whole job. The Creative Lead and Technical Operator are assessed on work they hand in. You are assessed on a two-hour block that cannot be re-run. There is no draft of a live show.
40 scenes on a 1920×1080 canvas (2026-08-09 26b2c6f), every one generated from data rather than arranged by hand. You will not be asked to build the desk. You will be asked to cut it.
Most of this seat's material was written before this kit existed. Rather than restate it here — a second copy of a runbook is a runbook that disagrees with the first one — these are the doors:
| Surface | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Producer runbook | Intake for 24 rigs, on-call model, the show-day timeline, the incident log pay decisions are settled from, and every scene you cut with what each one costs you |
| Stream guide | The master signal path end to end |
| Broadcast architecture | Where the machine lives, and why the scenes are shaped the way they are |
| Participant setup | What the other 23 people receive, and what you will be fixing at 9:58 |
Named because the failure mode of this seat is absorbing everyone else's job at 200 episodes' scale:
The program · the desk · pay · what to send.
