What you sign, when it arrives, what we own and what you keep

Paperwork

What you will be asked to sign, when it arrives, and what it covers.

The documents are with counsel now. They are not published here yet, because their wording will change and we are not going to put text in front of you that you might rely on before it is final. You will get the complete documents to read before you are asked to sign anything, and you are encouraged to have someone look at them.

When each one arrives

StageWhat you sign
Applying — reading thisNothing.
Paid screening taskA short agreement covering confidentiality and ownership of work produced in the task. It creates no obligation in either direction — signing is not an offer of work and not an acceptance of one.
Before any cameraThe full release: appearance and media licence, IP assignment, confidentiality, non-solicitation, and broadcast conduct.
Each round transitionRe-affirmation. Scope genuinely changes between rounds, so clearance never silently carries forward.

What the company owns

The work you produce for a brand during the program — copy, calendars, renders, code, plans. That is what you are being paid for, and it is what lets the work ship under a client's name.

The recordings. Every episode, and things made from them: VOD, clips, the podcast, promos, compilations, licensing.

The sentence that matters most: if you are eliminated, or you leave, or it ends badly — the episodes stay up. A show that has to delete an episode when someone changes their mind is a show nobody can license or keep online. If you are not comfortable with that, this is the moment to say so, and saying so costs you nothing.

What we will not do

No synthetic or AI-generated versions of your voice, face or performance, and no using your material to train likeness or voice models — not without a separate written agreement and separate payment.

The appearance rights cover editing real footage: cutting, captioning, clipping. They do not cover generating performances you never gave. We are an AI studio, which is exactly why that line is written as a carve-out rather than a promise — a promise can be quietly dropped; a carve-out has to be renegotiated.

What you keep

What you owe

Confidentiality on a narrow list — client names not already public, unpublished financials, credentials. Not a gag order on your experience: everything broadcast is public by definition and you may talk about it freely.

Non-solicitation of clients and participants for the season and a limited period after. It does not stop you taking any job in the industry.
